Nine-time league winners Shannon dominated the competition for many seasons, but they last lifted the title in 2009.

Young Munster have only won the league once, yet they posed some serious challenges last season and could be a force to be reckoned with again this year.

Irish Rugby TV will be streaming the game live with commentary from the IRFU’s Gordon Black, well known to clubs and officials alike, and former Shannon, Munster and Ireland star Alan Quinlan.

Young Munster have won three out of the last four meetings between the sides in the Ulster Bank League, including the most recent 23 – 20 win back in February.

There may be Ryder Cup, there may be RaboDirect PR12 but you will not find more passionate sport this weekend than this classic club rugby clash, so stick on the laptop and watch the stream live right here on IrishRugby.ie from 7.25pm tonight.
