St. Mary’s Seek Raw Recruits

St. Mary’s College RFC women’s team has been in operation for 10 years but this season the next step in the development of the women’s section will be taken. For the 2012/13 season, St. Mary’s will be fielding two senior women’s sides – one in Division One of the All-Ireland League and one in the newly formed Leinster Division Six.

This new second team will be competing in a league specially created for complete beginners. It is a great opportunity for those new to the game to try it out at an accessible level, to get fit and to have a bit of fun too!

Those who have played before or are looking for a bit more of a challenge might be interested in our established Division One team which contains an exuberant and diverse group of players.

Whatever your abilities or interest, we’re always looking for new players and can guarantee to find a place for you! Along with our on-pitch activities which provide great craic and banter, we enjoy pre-season team bonding activities, après match socialising and taking part in Club events throughout the season.

Our senior teams train on Tuesdays and Thursdays please get in touch if you would like more information or would like to come along to a training session and try it out for yourself!

For those not yet eligible for our adult teams, we have a youth structure for girls between the ages of 12-18 years which will start back training in September. Please get in touch for more information.

The club boasts great recreational and training facilities including an on-site club gym, and are the current holders of the Ulster Bank League title.
