Ireland Women’s Sevens Squad For Rugby Rocks

Ireland Women’s Sevens Squad For Rugby Rocks

Ireland Women’s Sevens coach Jon Skurr has named a twelve woman squad for the RugbyRocks London 7s this weekend.

Last weekend saw the squad take their first siginificant step on the road to qualification for the IRB Sevens World Cup when they participated in the Amsterdam 7s.

Having gone unbeaten two weeks previously at Kinsale the squad, playing under the invitational name of ‘Irish Lightning’ got a real taste of the standard of rugby at this level as they came up against several international sides who focus heavily on sevens.
