Aviva Mini Rugby Festival Rocks Ashbourne
The Aviva Mini Rugby Festival rocked out in Ashbourne RFC last weekend with boys and girls from clubs and schools all over Ireland enjoying the action on the pitch and fun off it.
It was a long and fun-packed day for the players. As well as the rugby, there was plenty of music and the chance to meet Ireland squad members Mike Ross, Fergus McFadden and David Kearney.
Teams came from all over Ireland in large numbers – Letterkenny made the long trip south with two squads – and there was plenty of great rugby action on the pitches at Ashbourne RFC.
It was a fantastic day for the young players but also the volunteers who put in long hours coaching and travelling with their teams.
