New Look For IrishRugby.ie

Many of the key features of the original site that made it easy to use have been retained such as the news swipe on the homepage, the dedicated tournament sections and of course the great content!

So what is new on IrishRugby.ie? Well, we have given it a good lick of paint and brightened things up but we have also added a host of new features.

Match Centre – Everything about the match in one place. Team announcements, previews, formations, player profiles, match reports, galleries, post-match video and all under one roof! 

Irish Rugby TV – Fully integrated throughout the site so you can watch it on small or big screen. All the latest audio and video from the Ireland camp, the provinces and the club game.

Rugby Development – Let’s face it, RUGBY is what we do best. Find out how we make it work with everything on the development of the game:

Coaching – Coaching for coaches, everything you need to know about becoming a coach and developing your skills.

Referees – Want to be a referee? We have all the information right here.

Technical Model – The guiding principles for all of our development and a full rugby lexicon with video examples.

Play Rugby – School teacher? Minis coach? ‘Play Rugby’ includes videos, games, certificates and much more.

Charitable Trust – You can now donate online to the IRFU Charitable Trust and find our more about fundraising events, such as the Rugby World Cup Walk, as we raise funds for seriously injured players.

“The growth and popularity of rugby is echoed in the increasing numbers logging on to our site and we hope that supporters old and new as well as the many volunteers, players, coaches and referees in the clubs and schools will find what they need on IrishRugby.ie.”

Website Manager Barry Cunningham welcomed the new look, saying: “I am very pleased with the new site. We looked at all the aspects of how people navigate the site, the information they are seeking, the downloads they make and we have made it even easier for them.
