Dudley Cup Action Set For College Park

Dudley Cup Action Set For College Park

The 2010/11 Dudley Cup will be contested at College Park next Saturday, in an all-day festival of University rugby. Kicking off at 11am, defending champions UCD and hosts Trinity will be followed by UCC against Queen’s University.

Four Irish Universities – UCD, Trinity College, UCC and Queen’s University – will battle it out for the Dudley Cup at College Park, the home of Dublin University FC, next Saturday (September 25).

Given that three of the four university sides are now playing in Division 2 of the All-Ireland League, this is a wonderful opportunity to witness high class and exciting university rugby. Irish University rugby has rarely been as strong over the past few years.
