Ireland And Ireland ‘A’ Squads Named

Ireland coach Declan Kidney has announced a reduced 27-man squad for the opening game in the RBS 6 Nations Championship against France on Saturday week (February 7).

The team and replacements for the game will be selected next Tuesday ahead of the Croke Park clash.

There are 14 forwards included in the panel, with uncapped prop Tom Court from Ulster retained with the senior squad for next week. 


The other members of the initial RBS 6 Nations Squad have moved into a 22-man Ireland ‘A’ squad for their match next Friday against England Saxons at Donnybrook. The starting team and replacements will also be confirmed next Tuesday.
