Budweiser Beach Tag Tomorrow In Dingle

Tomorrow is not only the first ever Budweiser Tag Beach Tag Festival but the first ever Budweiser Tag Festival of any kind! Read on for details of the day’s events.

Games to start at 1pm – due to strict time schedule per tides
Be there at least 45 minutes before start especially if registering team ‘on the day’ instead of online

A free Shuttle Bus Service will operate from the Square in Dingle to the venue every 15-20 minutes up until 12.30pm.
This service will commence between 10.30am-11.00am.

On arrival, check in at the registration tent where you will also see your games schedule for the day. If you have any queries on the day’s events or post-match events, please ask your local friendly venue staff at the tent.

Games are 10 minutes long.
A team will have FIVE players onfield. This will consist of THREE males and TWO females. Substitutions can be rolled on and off without limit.
Scoring will entail 1 point for every male try and 3 points for every try scored by a female player.

All teams must wear Tag Rugby approved shorts. These can be any make provided they have NO pockets and sport a velcro patch on each hip where the Tags (which we provide at each game) can be adhered to.
For those without shorts, there will be a supply on sale at €;20.00 per pairNo Tag Belts are permitted.

PARKING:  You may park your car free of charge at An Gaelteacht GAA Club in Ballydavid which is quite literally only a minute or two’s walk away from Muiríoch beach.
Cars may then be picked up between 10.30am and 12.00pm the next day (Sunday). Please be courteous and adhere to these conditions.

Food/Drink will be available on sale at the venue throughout the day.

Party-Time Afterwards:
After the day’s Tag Rugby, everyone shall make their way to Tigh TP in Ballydavid (Baile na nGall) to enjoy a summer’s party mixture of ‘craic, ceol agus bia’. This is a beautifully spacious pub with the harbour on one side and the beach on the other side.
