Corinthians Launch Budweiser Tag 2008
Players and spectators came in droves to Galway Corinthians to take part in the national launch of Budweiser Tag for the 2008 season
A massive crowd of over 1500 people arrived to take part or spectate at the event and following the evening’s weekly games involving 72 teams, everyone retired to the sidelines and the large Marquee erected contributing to the electric atmosphere enjoyed by all.
Thankfully, the threat of rain held off ensuring the BBQ being able to keep burning through the night.
Commenting on the night’s event, Corinthians Venue Manager, Barry McCann said: “Tonight was one of the best ever that I have been involved with at Corinthians.
I’m sure Budweiser Taggers around the country will be having just as much fun as us throughout the season. This summer is even bigger and better than last year and long may this growth continue to spread throughout the four provinces”.
