Canterbury Kit Competition

Canterbury Kit Competition

The monthly Canterbury Kit Competition for April is another trip down memory lane! Check out the question and see if you won anything in the March draw.

In March we marked the 60th anniversary of Ireland’s Grand Slam win the following question:

When Ireland beat Wales in the 1948 Grand Slam, who played scrum half for Ireland? The answer was Ernie Strathdee.

Those of you who thought it was Peter Stringer should know that while he has been around a while he was only born in 1977!

The winners are:

First Prize of an Ireland jersey goes to Michael Dempsey from Carrick On Suir,  Co. Tipperary.

Second Prize of an Ireland Light Weight Anorak goes to Jim Hanna from Youghal in Co. Cork.

Third prize of an Ireland beanie goes to Jessica McCreery from Bangor in Co. Down

This month the prizes are:

First: Ireland Quarter Zip Top
Second: Ireland Hoody
Third: Ireland Sportsbag.

All you have to do is answer yet another easy question. This month we are marking the fact that Ireland will play the Barbarians in May as part of their Summer Tour warm up.
