IRFU Twilight Tag Comes To Town
When Lucy Maud Montgomery wrote ‘Twilight drops her curtain down, and pins it with a star’, do you think she had Tag Rugby in mind? Read on for more about the brand new IRFU Tag Spring Leagues programme called ‘Twilight Tag’.
The IRFU are proud to announce the launching of its Springtime Tag leagues. These spring leagues are part of our “Twilight Tag” programme. A wonderful chance for people to play Tag under floodlights in evening-time outside the normal summer months.
Taking place over six weeks from the beginning of April until the middle of May, registration for “Twilight” at the following three rugby clubs can be entered in the Register Your Team section which can be found here:
Leinster – Wexford Wanderers RFC
Munster – Bruff RFC
Munster – Crosshaven RFC
Costing only between 180-250 euro per team (depending on venue), Twilight Tag can be used as a warm-up for the Summer form of the game or else an excellent introduction to the prospective novice on how IRFU Tag is played or refereed.
