Ireland ‘A’ Team Named

Ireland ‘A’ coach Michael Bradley has made three changes in personnel for the finals day of the Churchill Cup. Ireland ‘A’ play Scotland ‘A’ in the 3rd and 4th place playoff

Twickenham is the place to be on Saturday for a feast of rugby in the Churchill Cup with all six teams playing.

Ireland ‘A’ will play their Scottish counterparts in the 3rd / 4th place playoffs. Coach Michael Bradly has again made changes to the team that started the last game.

Johnny Murphy moves to fullback in place of Ross McCarron who has returned home with an injured thumb. To accomodate this switch try scorer Keith Earls reverts to the left wing with Seamus Mallon coming in to partner Darren Cave in the centre.  Frank Murphy and Johnny Sexton again for the half back partnership.

Up front there are two changes one in the front row and one in the back row. John Lyne comes in for the injured Ray Hogan at loosehead while John Muldoon replaces Johnny O’Sullivan, who drops to the bench, to line out alongside Roger Wilson and Johnny O’Connor. Andrew Farley and Ryan Caldwell make up the engine room partnership.
