Ulster and Connacht record big wins

Ulster beat Borders while Connacht beat Rotheram in two encouraging pre-seaon warm up games for Mark McCall and Michael Bradley.

Ulster rounded off their week-long training camp to St Andrews with a 36-7 win over the Borders in a pre-season friendly.

Coach Mark McCall took this opportunity to have a look at some of the new faces in his squad, with the unavailability of his Irish internationals and a number of players recovering from injury, this game proved to be ideal preparation for the season ahead.
