UL-Bohemains V Blackrock

Cill Dara, 3pm

FOUR in-a-row league champions UL-Bohemians take on the newly crowned Cup winners this Sunday.

The Limerick team are packed with talented players with up to nine Irish international starters in their ranks. They also used this season’s Cup competition effectively to unearth new talent such as Cork footballer Mairead Kelly and Munster U21 star Nicole Fitzgerald.

If Bohs can move the ball quickly on Sunday, then expect the likes of Irish skipper Sarahjane Belton, Kelly and winger Carol Murphy to do some damage.

For Blackrock to win their tight five must work much extremely hard and scrum-half Tania Rosser will have to be at her best to spark something from her back-line which includes the tough centre partnership of Grace Davitt and Shannon Heuston.

AIL Division Two final

Ballincollig v Clonmel

Cill Dara RFC, 1pm.

BALLINCOLLIG can end their season on a huge high by beating Clonmel in the AIL
Division Two League final on Saturday.

The Cork team will enter the game in an upbeat frame of mind following their All-Ireland Plate success last weekend.
Clonmel, a side who have been in-form since last October, will however provide stern opposition.

Clashes between these two sides are always extremely close, with only a few scores separating the two all season.
They met in the first league outing of the season and the spoils were shared, the sides scoring a try apiece.
In their second league clash it was Clonmel who came out on top, but only by a kick at goal, the game ending 3-0 in their favour.

It promises to be another tight encounter with an excellent game in store.
