From left to right, fly half Gareth Steenson (Dungannon), winger Ciaran O’Boyle (Garryowen) and centre Stephen Grissing (UCD) go through their paces. Steenson and Grissing will start against Scotland at Donnybrook on Friday (kick-off 7.35pm) – O’Boyle, who scored two tries in Garryowen’s 34-8 win over Shannon last Saturday, features on the replacements bench.

Dungannon’s Gareth Steenson at training. The former Ireland Under-21 captain came to prominence during the Irish U-21s’ run through to the 2004 U-21 World Cup final in Scotland. He was the U-21 World Cup’s top scorer in both 2004 (64 points) and 2005 (76 points). Steenson, who turns 22 next month, has signed a contract to join English club Rotherham Earth Titans in the summer.

Ireland Club captain David Quinlan on the run at Monkstown RFC. Quinlan, a compact number 8, has proved a hit at Buccaneers since joining the Pirates from champions Shannon last summer.

Tickets for the game will be available for purchase at the gate and are priced at 15 (stand), 10 (terrace) and 5 for school children.
