…Apart from Malcolm, there were a number of other good performances. Although I would have plumped for O’Kelly, it was hard to argue with Shane Horgan being nominated Man of the Match…

…It was also marvellous to see Andrew Trimble recover from what could have been a devastating blow that was his involvement in the Welsh try. It was certainly an awkward bounce. So it was wonderful to see a young guy playing in his first 6 Nations start recover to give a further demonstration of why so many are so excited about him. He has a terrific refusal to accept the inevitability of the tackle that means good things happen around him…
