The finals for the inaugural AIB Cup and AIB Junior Cup have been confirmed as an exciting double header to be played at Lansdowne Road on Saturday, April 8.
The AIB Junior Cup final will see Ulster side Rainey Old Boys take on Youghal from Cork. The game will kick off at 2.00pm and will be followed by the AIB Cup final at 4.00pm.
In the Senior decider, St. Mary’s College, who had an impressive away win over Garryowen in Limerick in last Saturday’s semi-finals, will be hoping to make it two wins in a row over Munster clubs as they will play Cork Constitution, who were victorious over Connacht side Buccaneers.
Admission prices for the AIB Cup finals day will be priced at:
7 20 for a family ticket (admission for two adults and four children into the stand)
7 12 for an adult (stand)
7 5 for an adult (terrace)
7 2 school children
To offset the cost for clubs intending to travel to Lansdowne Road by coach, the IRFU will be covering coach hire costs for the clubs to the value of 450 (or sterling equivalent for Ulster clubs). For further details or to avail of the offer, clubs must contact Tracy Hadnett in the IRFU at tracy.hadnett@irfu.ie or tel: (01) 6473800, in advance of the games.
