Pictured above: Former Ulster and Ireland flanker Andy Ward tries to fend off the attentions of Dublin University’s Hugh Hogan. Ward, now 35 and player-coach of Belfast Harlequins, scored two second half tries to College Park to help ‘Quins stay fourth in the standings.
Harlequins’ former Ireland Under-21 fly-half Michael Glancy looks for support with Killian O’Neill snapping at his heels. Glancy is ranked as the third top scorer in Division One – with 82 points – after seven rounds of action. He scored 16 points in Saturday’s fixture.
Paul McKenzie, another of ‘Quins’ former Ireland Under-21 brigade, is tackled by Dubliner University full-back Colm Coyle.
Harlequins scrum half Reece Spee, who is a member of the Ulster squad this season, touches down the opening try – the only one of the first half – as the visitors headed towards a 13-0 interval lead.

‘Quins lightning right winger Jonny Lowe charges through the students’ defence. With Conor Keown benched, Lowe, one of ‘Quins’ four try scorers, took over the captaincy duties for the afternoon.
