Ireland Under-21 coach Mark McDermott has selected a panel of 32 players to take part in a three-day squad session in Dublin from Sunday, December 18-Monday, December 20.

The Under-21s were in action last month against two French Regional sides, playing twice at Stradbrook with a win for the French in the first game and a win for ‘Ireland 2’ in the second.

Following this month’s squad session, a panel of 22 players will be selected to play against a Leinster ‘A’ side on Friday, December 30 at Stradbrook, Blackrock College RFC (kick-off 2.00pm) to allow the Under-21s to gain vital match practice for the upcoming Under-21 Six Nations championship in February.
