22 year-old Gregory Mahe, who joined from Lourdes this season as
scrum-half cover,
replaces Pichot.
Italy fly-half Diego Dominguez and France’s South African-born
centre Brian
Liebenberg were passed fit for the trip to Limerick.
Liebenberg has been out for a month after twisting his knee while
Dominguez
returns after tearing a hamstring.
Right wing Raphael Poulain, with a pulled calf muscle, is replaced
by
Thomas Lombard although Poulain is named on the bench bracketed with Stephane Glas.
“There’s no question, it’s going to take one mighty fight to
stop Munster’s
pack putting their halfbacks Stringer and O’Gara in a position to run
the
game,” said France Test prop Pieter De Villiers.
