RBS Six nations – Williams Makes Two Changes

Scotland coach Matt Williams has made two changes for Saturday’s RBS Six Nations match against Italy in Rome

Scotland coach Matt Williams has made two changes for Saturday’s RBS Six Nations match against Italy in Rome with Allan Jacobsen and Allister Hogg coming into the side for injured prop Tom
Smith and
back-row forward Cameron Mather.

This will be Jacobsen’s first start in a Six Nations match but Hogg
played in the 23-10 defeat game Wales last month and came on as a 60th minute replacement for Mather in Murrayfield last time out against England.

Cameron (Mather) and Tom (Smith) are continuing to have treatment for their injuries, they’re just not quite for this match but we’re hopeful that they’ll be back to us later in the tournament.”

Jon Petrie comes onto the bench ahead of Simon Cross and Scott Gray, and Derrick Lee is promoted to the 22.
