Assistant Ticket Officer (Accounts) Role
Introduction & Context
The Assistant Ticketing Officer (Accounts) reports to the Ticket Office Manager. The purpose of the role is to perform accounts-related administrative duties to assist the Ticket Office in providing a professional service in the designing, developing, printing and distributing of all tickets for the IRFU.
Working as part of a small team the role is required to plan, prioritise and deliver work effectively which requires the completion of defined tasks in an accurate, organised and orderly manner.
The successful candidate will (ideally) have an Accounts/Bookkeeping qualification, 2 to 3 years previous accounts-related administrative support experience, be able to work to tight deadlines within a busy office environment and be able to deal with the public in a professional and timely manner.
Key Objectives for Role
Maintain Aged Debtors
Plan, organise and coordinate the aged debtors process and procedures
Recording of Ticket Payments
Record, monitor and report on the ticket repayment process in accordance with policies and procedures
Reconciliation and Lodgements – Bank Accounts
Maintain and monitor the reconciliation and lodgement procedures and verify Bank transactions
Customer Services
Communicate and deal with customers on general queries via telephone, email and personal contact
Assistance to Ticket Office
Provide ongoing support to Ticket Office in the printing and distribution of tickets as required
Administration
Complete administration and support services as required
Assistant Ticket Officer Role
Introduction & Context
The Assistant Ticketing Officer reports to the Ticket Office Manager. The purpose of the role is to perform administrative support duties to assist the Ticket Office in providing a professional service in the designing, developing, printing and distributing of all tickets for the IRFU.
Working as part of a small team the role is required to plan, prioritise and deliver work effectively which requires the completion of defined tasks in an accurate, organised and orderly manner.
The successful candidate will (ideally) have 2 to 3 years previous administrative support experience, be able to work to tight deadlines within a busy office environment and be able to deal with the public in a professional and timely manner.
Key Objectives for Role
Internet Sales
Plan, organise and coordinate the internet sales ticketing process
Printing of Tickets
Coordinate the printing of tickets in accordance with policies and procedures
Distribution of Tickets
Coordinate the distribution of tickets in accordance with policies and procedures
Recording of Tickets
Record and register tickets distributed in accordance with policies and procedures
Customer Services
Communicate and deal with customers on general queries via telephone, email and personal contact
Administration
Complete administration and support services as required
