Parusini said he was not in a position to disclose the terms of the settlement
but a media conference today would release details.

The NZRPA initially demanded $120,000 for each All Black if New Zealand won
the World Cup in Australia later this month, but the NZRU had offered $50,000.

The row had threatened New Zealand’s presence at the cup in October-November.

The NZRU needed the players’ agreement to be able to deliver its cup participation
agreement to the World Cup organisers by Friday midday (NZ time).

International Rugby Board (IRB) chairman Syd Millar confirmed New Zealand would
have breached its agreement with the Rugby World Cup had it failed to meet the
deadline.
