The Ireland Women’s side will travel to Edinburgh, to face Scotland in their first Six Nations game of the season, which kicks off at 14.00pm at the Meadowbank on February 15th.

Despite having yet to win a game in the competition, Ireland’s forward strides and improved showing last year means the girls in green are confident that this season provides them with their best ever chance of taking that first 6 Nations scalp.

Ulster’s Suzanne Fleming will skipper the side which sees Ireland’s 6 Nations bid involving the arrival of some new faces on the International scene.

Ninteen year old Shannon number eight Joy Neville wins her first cap along with Nottingham out-half Joanne O Sullivan.
A new look bench also features first timers Fiona Coughlan, Jen Leacy, Lesley Coulter, Nuala Ni Chaidhain and Amanda Greensmith.

The Irish squad will assemble in Belfast on Thursday evening (Feb 13th) and leave for Scotland the following day returning to Belfast on Saturday evening after the game.
