A twenty-two player Irish womens squad to travel to Chester to face a British Police selection on Saturday the 11th of January has been announced.

A twenty-two player Irish womens squad to travel to Chester to face a British Police selection on Saturday the 11th of January has been announced. There are a few new names on the squad who will be looking to impress ahead of the Women’s Six Nations.

Clonakilty flanker Eimear O’Sullivan will travel with the squad for the first time. The twenty year old represented Ireland at A’ level earlier this year.

Shannon forward Rosemary Brown has also been included in the line-up. Utility forward Brown was added to the International squad following some impressive front row appearances for Munster earlier this year.

Boyne’s Grace Davitt flies the second division representative flag alone as she also receives a first call up.
