France have included Stephane Glas in place of Xavier Garbajosa and Thibault Privat is recalled ifor the injured David Auradou for the game against Scotland on Saturday week

14/03/02.French team manager Jo Maso has labelled this “the most important game of the season”. Fabien Galthie’s unbeaten side will be hopeful of keeping their 100% record intact and set up Grand Slam shot against Ireland in Paris on the 6th of April.

“The game against Scotland is even more important than the game against England. We need to win in order to prove ourselves,” said Maso.

“This is the most important game of the season. If we beat Scotland we will set ourselves up for a great occasion against Ireland at the Stade de France.”

Stade Francais lock David Auradou has neen ruled out with a thumb injury and Beziers second row Thibault Privat is recalled to the squad after missing the game against England through injury.

Auradou’s Stade Francais team mate Pieter de Villers is named in the party despite carrying an ankle injury, but French coach Bernard Laporte has added Narbonne prop Jean-Baptiste Poux to his squad ahead of Toulouse hooker Yannick Bru.
