Team coach Ricky Huey commented: “This is the first time the Irish Colleges have been awarded their own Inter-provincial series, so it is a great step up for these young players. Ulster are very much the underdogs with Leinster and Munster both having very strong sides. The Ulster pack look very strong on paper and although we have a very young team, we have the
experience of players like Steven McConnell, John Campbell and Chris McCarey to count on.”
