Former Ireland Under 20 Grand Slam winners Kyle Tonetti and Paul O'Donohue also feature in the starting line up as does new signing Isa Nacewa at full back.
Coach Michael Cheika intends to give as many players as possible some defined game time in the match as he sees this game and the one against the Queensland Red as part of the selection process: "We hope to transfer the good, strong technical work we've been doing with the ball in play and make good decisions under pressure so that we're applying better technique in pressure situations."
"We also want to achieve a good level of physicality, and good involvement in the game, which means lots of touches . . . We want to see this ethos from the start. We want to see this game set the platform as far as that's concerned."
