Prop Cian Healy is expected to miss the start of the 2014 RBS 6 Nations after undergoing surgery on his injured ankle on Wednesday.
The ball struck Reddan full in the face as he tried to block Lee Byrne's clearance kick in the opening seconds at the Millennium Stadium.
He will be monitored by the Ireland medical team who will follow the IRB concussion 'Return to Play' protocols to determine when he has fully recovered.
He will also see a neurologist this week as part of the concussion management and at this point he is not being ruled out of contention for the final Championship fixture against England.
