Grand Slam winners Fiona Coghlan and Nora Stapelton have returned the Women's RBS 6 Nations trophy to Chief Executive John Feehan at the Six Nations offices in Dublin.
The Connemara Whiskey Connacht Club Person of the Year will be awarded to a person who has made a significant contribution to the development and advancement of their rugby club.
Be it managing or coaching teams, being involved in fundraising or club committees, maintaining the club grounds or looking after team kit.
The winner will receive a commemorative award and a hand-signed bottle of Connemara Peated Irish Whiskey. The winner's club will receive a sports equipment voucher to the value of €500.
Stephen Teeling, Brand Manager of Connemara Whiskey, commented: "We are delighted to be able to recognise the unsung heroes of the Connacht club rugby scene.
"These club stalwarts are the lifeblood of the game and their selflessness and generosity allows clubs to provide facilities and structures for everyone to enjoy."
Connacht Rugby CEO Gerry Kelly said: "This is a great scheme which rewards and recognises the people who give so much time and energy to the club game throughout the province. I would encourage all clubs to support this initiative."
The 2010/11 Connemara Whiskey Connacht Club Person of the Year will be announced next April and will be presented with the commemorative award by John Teeling, the Chairman of Cooley Distillery, and Gerry Kelly.
Each club can nominate as many members from their club as they wish and entry forms are available to download from www.connemarawhiskey.com/connachtrugby and from the Connacht Rugby website.
