The workshops took place in each of the four provinces and were presented by specialist professionals from within the key areas of commercial sport that were addressed , which included sponsorship, website development, local and national media relations and general communications.
The response in terms of attendance from the clubs for each event was excellent, making the workshops an extremely beneficial 'meeting of minds' for all those who attended.
The overall aim of the workshops was to assist the clubs of Ireland to fully maximise all their existing sponsorships and to develop their communications resources.
