The Hirsute Heroes Of Westport RFC

Members of Westport RFC have been busily growing their beards ahead of a charity shave for Western MS

Recently Kairos Communications, who are contracted to RTE for news film productions, visited Westport in County Mayo to film and interview the 'beardy' men of Westport Rugby Club who are involved in a sponsored beard shave for the charity Western MS.
They also interviewed Fintan Gibbons, the main organiser of he event, and coach Pat McCormack, who were asked about the aims of the event and how it was progressing.
The news item will be appearing on RTE shortly and is looked forward to by the 'beardy ones' who braved the recent cold and snow to exhibit their playing skills and hirsute faces for the cameras!
Well done to all involved.
