Prop Cian Healy is expected to miss the start of the 2014 RBS 6 Nations after undergoing surgery on his injured ankle on Wednesday.
The centre received deep bruising above the left knee during the game. It has been monitored and treated by the Ireland medical team all week.
On Tuesday, he was named in an unchanged Irish team to face Scotland in the final game to take place at Croke Park.
D'Arcy will continue to be monitorted by the Irish medical staff to ensure there is no reaction to Thursday's training session.
A final decision on his availability and fitness for the game will be made tomorrow (Friday) following the Captain's Run session at Croke Park.
Head coach Declan Kidney confirmed, earlier in the week, that if D'Arcy fails to recover in time, Paddy Wallace will take over in the number 12 jersey.
