Ireland pulled clear of hosts Canada with four tries in the closing half hour as they earned a 40-14 victory at the BMO Stadium on Saturday night. Check out some photos from the Toronto tussle.
The visitors took the lead with a 14th minute penalty from Dan Van Zyl and never really looked back from there. Mark Buckley scored their opening try whilst three Colin Glynn penalties saw 'Wegians trail 13-9 at the break.
Cork Constitution slipped down the table after losing 27-17 at home to Lansdowne. Con were 11 points up after 10 minutes before Lansdowne responded with a Matt Leek penalty and try from Karl Becker. Leek tied it up with a second penalty but Pat McCarthy gave Con back the lead with his third penalty. The outstanding Leek then scored a try which he converted and added a penalty for a lead the home couldn't peg back.
Up north Ballymena beat Belfast Harlequins 29-7 to move to second place in the table, a point behind Blackrock College who beat Buccaneers 29-11, in Ericsson Park and in the bottom of the table clash UL Bohemians ended up 15-13 winners over Terenure College in Lakelands.
Clontarf maintained their good form with a 17-11 win over Shannon in Thomond Park, St Mary's and Garryowen shared 40 points in their draw at Templeville Road and in Belfield UCD beat Dungannon, 21-19, to move away from the bottom of the table.
In Division Two, Dolphin slipped from top spot after losing 14-12 at home to Thomond. Old Crescent take over at the top after beating Portadown 44-12.
In Division Three, Waterpark maintained their 100% record with a 45-11 thumping of Connemara at Ballinakill. Corinthians' 28-16 win over Old Wesley sees them in second place in the table with Clonakilty in third after beating City of Derry 10-6 at Shannonvale Cross.
