Connacht have left a vacancy in their 22-man squad for Friday's Magners League showdown with the Ospreys (The Sportsground, kick-off 6.30pm).
Winger Darren Yapp is doubtful with a leg injury and it remains to be seen if he will be fit to participate.
The westerners are hoping to build on their impressive opening night victory over Border Reivers when they triumphed 29-15 at Netherdale.
Connacht coach Michael Bradley said they were hoping to hit the ground running in Scotland last Friday, especially as this is the first of six successive games in the Magners League in which the province will be at home at the Sportsground.
Following the game against the Ospreys, Connacht will entertain Llanelli Scarlets, Edinburgh Gunners, Leinster, Ulster and the Newport Gwent Dragons in Galway.
Season tickets are on sale on www.connachtrugby.ie and from the Connacht Branch headquarters at the Sportsground, College Road, Galway.
