...Isaac Boss, in action against Australia last June, will make his first start for Ireland against the Wallabies this weekend...

Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan has made four changes to his side for Sunday's Guinness Autumn Test against Australia, including the promotion of Ulster's Isaac Boss and Bryan Young to the starting XV.

In the backd division, Leinster's Denis Hickie comes onto the left wing in place of Andrew Trimble, who has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury. Geordan Murphy swaps positions with Girvan Dempsey and starts at full-back, with Dempsey reverting to the replacements, and Boss will make his first start for Ireland, taking the number 9 jersey from Peter Stringer who is listed amongst the replacements.

...Bryan Young will earn his fourth cap on Sunday, but the Australian Test will mark his first start for his country. To date, all of the Ballymena clubman's caps have come against Southern Hemisphere opposition, including last week against South Africa...

There is one change in the pack, with Bryan Young coming into the team for his first start, in place of Marcus Horan.

Another milestone in the Irish selection is that Shane Horgan will be winning his 50th cap for Ireland when he takes his regular right wing berth. The team will be captained by Brian O'Driscoll for the 32nd time.
