Scarlets v Leinster Is Latest PRO14 Postponement

PRO14 Rugby have confirmed that Saturday’s GUINNESS PRO14 round 17 fixture between the Scarlets and Leinster has been postponed.

The decision was made after consultation among PRO14 Rugby, the Scarlets and Leinster due to severe weather warnings that remain in place across the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Due to the extreme weather and the snow and ice warning in Ireland, Dublin Airport is experiencing widespread disruption which will prevent Leinster from travelling to Wales.

As has been the case with the other round 17 postponements, the health and safety of supporters, match officials, players and staff from both teams has been the foremost consideration.

It is in the best interests of everyone involved to postpone the fixture. Due to a number of factors and the limited windows of availability, the game will now be played on Friday, March 9 (kick-off 7.35pm) and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports from Parc y Scarlets.

Tickets for the original fixture remain valid and for all ticket enquiries related to this, please contact 0044 1554292939. Once again, we hope that supporters understand the reasons behind this postponement and that any inconvenience caused is minor compared to the impact of making this decision closer to kick-off.
