Leinster Report ‘No Fresh Injury Concerns’ Ahead Of Glasgow Trip

There are no fresh injury concerns in the Leinster squad after they recorded a 20-8 opening round success against Benetton Treviso at the RDS last Friday night.

Ahead of their round 2 game this Saturday against Glasgow Warriors at Scotstoun Stadium (kick-off 3pm), Leinster head coach Leo Cullen has issued updates with regard to a number of players:

Dave Kearney has resumed full contact training and will be assessed later in the week, while fellow back-three specialist and club captain Isa Nacewa has also resumed full contact training and will be assessed further as the week goes on.

Meanwhile, Ireland-capped back rower Jack Conan injured his ankle in the Gloucester pre-season game and underwent surgery last week. There is an eight-week time frame from surgery.

Newly-recruited lock Ian Nagle took a knock to his shoulder during Leinster’s final pre-season outing against Bath. The scan went well last week and he is not expected to miss anything longer than a few weeks.
