World Club 7s To Host Munster-Connacht Pre-Season Clash
An already exciting weekend of rugby action at the Limerick World Club 7s has been further bolstered by the news that Connacht will now play their pre-season game against Munster at Thomond Park on the Friday night of the festival (August 21) at 7.45pm.
Across Friday, August 21 and Saturday, August 22, twelve Sevens teams from around the world – including the four Irish provinces – will battle for honours in the Limerick World Club 7s, while spectators on Friday will also be treated to 15-a-side action when Connacht and Munster take to the field for an interprovincial pre-season clash.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Munster will commence their pre-season schedule of fixtures against French Top 14 outfit Grenoble at Thomond Park on Friday, August 14 (kick-off 7pm). Come and enjoy the carnival atmosphere both on and off the field, and spectators are also invited to join the Munster squad for a post-match BBQ in Thomond Park’s Fan Zone Plaza.
