Broken Hand Sidelines van den Heever

Broken Hand Sidelines van den Heever

Preparations began today for Munster’s key Heineken Cup round 3 clash with Perpignan at Thomond Park on Sunday (kick-off 12.45pm).

On the injury front, Munster’s latest signing Gerhard van den Heever broke a bone in his right hand against the Newport Gwent Dragons last Friday night.

The South African back, who is not registered for the Heineken Cup, is ruled out of action for the immediate future and will see a specialist later in the week.
