Coughlan To Miss Munster’s League Climax

Coughlan To Miss Munster’s League Climax

Big back rower James Coughlan will undergo surgery on Friday after fracturing a bone in his left hand in Munster’s Heineken Cup quarter-final defeat to Ulster.

James Coughlan, the province’s Player of the Year last season, will miss Munster’s remaining matches in the RaboDirect PRO12. Initial reports suggest that he could be sidelined for six to eight weeks.

Meanwhile, Keith Earls will have a scan later today to determine the full extent of the leg injury he sustained during last Sunday’s inteprovincial derby.
