Munster Select Squad To Face Ospreys

Munster have named a 29-man squad for the trip to the Liberty Stadium where they will take on the Ospreys in round 10 of the RaboDirect PRO12 on Saturday (kick-off 6.30pm).

The Welsh side are currently in pole position in the RaboDirect PR012 after just one defeat away to Glasgow Warriors in round 7.

Munster have won their last three matches in all competitions and assistant coach Anthony Foley was very pleased with how the young players acquitted themselves in last weekend’s bonus point win over Edinburgh.

“Having made 13 changes from the last league game, to produce a display like that against a quality side, you have to be happy,” said Foley.

“In any level of this game, you have to have a dominant scrum if you hope to achieve anything. That’s the way it is and always has been.

“And our scrum went very well and reflects the hard work that has been put in by the players themselves and the other thing is the overall effort, great attitude and great work-rate.

“We worked hard in the week leading up to the game, training was good and I think we saw the results of that where it counts – out there on the pitch.”
