Munster To Host Open Session As O’Leary Returns

Munster’s training session at Cork IT’s Bishopstown grounds on Thursday, as they prepare to face the Ospreys, will be open to the public.

Any supporters wishing to attend the open session are advised to arrive at the Bishopstown venue at 3.30pm.

It will be a full squad session that will include those involved in the Magners League game against the Ospreys on Saturday, as well as the ‘A’ squad that will travel to Manchester for a clash with Moseley.

Scrum half Tomas O’Leary is expected to take part in either of those games having recovered from the eye injury he sustained in training with Ireland squad during the Six Nations Championship.

O’Leary completed the contact work during Tuesday’s run-out for the players at Thomond Park and is eager for a return to action as Munster continue their bid for Magners League and Amlin Challenge Cup glory.

Fellow backs Johne Murphy and Declan Cusack will not feature as a result of injuries picked up in last Saturday’s league win at the Scarlets.

Out-half Cusack injured a shoulder and centre Murphy had to retire in the second half with an eye injury. Both players will undergo further medical examination this week.
