Ulster coach Brian McLaughlin has named a 28-man squad for Saturday’s Heineken Cup Pool 4 clash with Stade Francais at the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels (kick-off 4.45pm local time/3.45pm Irish time).
International trio Timoci Nagusa, Paddy Wallace and BJ Botha are all back in the extended Ulster squad after missing last weekend’s 23-13 win at Ravenhill.
Both Ulster and Stade Francais currently sit on nine points each att the top of the Pool 4 table, with only points difference separating the two sides as they head into Saturday’s crunch encounter.
Commenting on Saturday’s return leg, Ulster coach Brian McLaughlin said: “I never look back, I always look forward, we had a good win over Stade at the weekend, but now it is all about Brussels.
“I am just hoping that the record against Stade, come Saturday, will be played two, won two.
“We all know how good Stade are and towards the end of the game last week, when we basically stopped playing, having gained a 23-6 lead, they came back at us. This is something we have to be aware of this weekend.
“But we can also go there with belief, confidence and pride after our overall performance against them.
“We can go to Brussels with great passion and faith. We have kept our own destiny in our own hands.
“Last weekend’s performance was not perfect by any means, but by goodness it was a great one.
“We have to learn from any mistakes for this week, as they will be coming at us hard and fast.”
