Sheahan To Make Munster Return

Munster hooker Frankie Sheahan will return to action for the province’s ‘A’ team when they take on a Russian selection in Nenagh on Tuesday night (kick-off 7.30pm).

Frankie Sheahan is set to return to the fray for the first time since playing against Connacht in the Magners League in December.

The Corkman is back to fitness, having recently resuming contact work following a shoulder muscle injury.

Tuesday’s opponents hail from Krasnoyarsk in Siberia, where Ireland played a World Cup qualifier some years ago.

They are in Ireland on a three match tour, The Munster ‘A’ game at Nenagh Ormond RFC will be the first of three games they will play here.
