Connacht’s squad for next season continues to take shape with young backs Fionn Carr and Ian Keatley signing new contracts.
Fionn Carr and Ian Keatley, who came up through the ranks in Leinster, have impressed since joining Connacht at the outset of this season and have signed one-year contract extensions.
Full-back-cum-winger Carr, who is 23, has started 16 of Connacht’s 18 competitive games this season.
The former Ireland Under-21 international has started ten of those games at full-back, five on the right wing and one on the left wing.
Meanwhile, the 21-year-old Keatley, who was a key member of the 2007 Ireland Under-20 Grand Slam-winning side, has also started in 16 matches for Connacht, all at out-half. He was on bench duty for the other two.
