Bradley Looks Forward To Rovigo Trip

Connacht coach Michael Bradley says that victory over Italian side Rovigo will give the province a great chance of making it through to the quarter-finals of the European Challenge Cup.

But Bradley, who watched Connacht lose 53-13 to Ulster last weekend, has warned his side to take nothing for granted in their clash against Rovigo on Saturday.

“It is an important game and we need a big 80-minute performance and a victory,” he said.

Connacht will be bidding for their second win on the road in Europe having defeated Dax 30-12 in their opening match in France in October.

Rovigo also defeated Dax when they met in Italy and Bradley believes Rovigo will be up for Saturday’s encounter.

“They are at home and will be looking for a big performance and that is something we need to deal with and come away with the win,” he added.

With Connacht back in European Challenge Cup action this weekend, some of the westerners’ supporters are already eyeing up the clash with London Irish at the Madejski Stadium in mid-January.

Connacht Rugby will be ordering a limited number of tickets for the game for supporters to purchase.

So to avoid disappointment, it is recommended ringing up and reserving your ticket now by calling the branch offices (tel: 091 56 15 68) or emailing eoin@cbirfu.com.
