Leinster Player Award For Toner
Second row Devin Toner has been announced as the Bank of Ireland Leinster Player of the Month for September and October.
Stephen Mason, Regional Manager for Bank of Ireland in Dublin, presented Devin Toner with his award this week at the renovated Donnybrook stadium.
A prestigious award voted for by Leinster supporters, September and October provided lots of match time to rate player performances with eight games in two months, including two winning Heineken Cup clashes against Edinburgh and Wasps.
Toner’s energetic performances in both of these games and his contribution during the Magners League matches put him top of the list.
As Leinster Rugby face into Round 7 of the Magners League and Round 3 of the Heineken Cup, the province’s fans are sure to continue to see some more strong performances from Toner as Leinster look to climb up the league table and also secure a Heineken Cup quarter-final berth.
