Connacht Lose to London Welsh

Connacht continued their preparation for the new season with a friendly encounter against London Welsh at the Sportsground on Friday evening.

An experimental Connacht side trailed by 5-12 at half time with hooker Conor Muldoon scoring his first try for the province.

Gavin Duffy crossed for Connacht’s second try in the second half, with Ian Keatley adding the extras but it wasn’t enough to cancel out a brace of tries from London Welsh number eight Tom Brown and one from centre Tom Rock.
