Wallace and Hayes Make Munster Squad

Ireland internationals David Wallace and John Hayes, who both picked up knocks against Clermont Auvergne last weekend, have been included in Munster’s extended squad for their Magners League clash with the Newport Gwent Dragons on Saturday.

Apart from injured captain Paul O’Connell (back), Munster coach Declan Kidney should have a full hand available to him for Saturday evening’s meeting with the Welsh side at Musgrave Park (kick-off 7.30pm).

Joining Wallace and Hayes is their fellow 2006 Heineken Cup winner, John Kelly, who could be involved in a Munster matchday squad for the first time since injurying himself against Viadana in September.

Another player who featured for Con against Garryowen, Denis Hurley, has also made the cut, while Shannon duo Donnacha Ryan and Niall Ronan will be hoping to force their way into the Munster 22 after both players impressed for Mick Galwey’s side in recent weeks.
